Back in 2007, I participated in a Row by Row Robin with the gals from the
Quilting Passion forum. We selected our fabrics from our stash, boxed them up and sent them on to the next person. Each month, I received someone else's box and made my block, then sent it on to the next person.

This is the block that I made for myself, in my fabrics and for each person on my list using their fabrics. This is a block I found on
Quilter's Cache, a wonderful source of blocks, and is called Best Friends. My blocks were all hand pieced, as I don't do paper piecing.
When I recieved my box back, I laid out the rows in many configurations and nothing really appealed to me. This is what the usual row by row robin quilt lay out looks like.

So I drafted each block and a swatch of each of my fabrics into EQ6 and came up with something totally different. The best part about this quilt is it's acually going to be for ME!!!!! I own only one quilt and it's ugly. This may very well be the next UFO I get done. Here is a virtual picture of the quilt.

Thank you Sadia. I really like how this quilt turned out. I still need to get the borders on. It took me forever to find the right color for the border.
